From Inner Critic To Inner Guidance
Join us for this deep, and fun, half-day “playshop” — exploring true creativity, what can get in the way, where we can source our creativity from, and how to pour more creativity into our daily lives.
We will address the creative tension between your INNER CRITIC trying to protect you from shame … and your INNER GUIDANCE trying to lead forth your creative genius.
This intimate workshop/playshop time together will activate your creative flow, WHETHER YOU:
- think of yourself as “creative”
- do any of the “creative arts”
- express your creativity in business, relationship or social activism,
- simply think of creativity as “seeing things anew”
- are a “beginner” or “advanced”
- have been squashed, criticized or wounded
- were “graded” in school for an artistic project
- a friend attended my “beta” of this playshop, who considered himself only creative in “creating political events”
Step Into Your Creative Genius
How can this workshop “cover” this huge range? Because creativity has a huge heart. She welcomes anyone who has even the teensiest willingness to open, discover, explore, play, unblock.
We will be outdoors, in a cool, shaded grove of ancient trees, with the sound and flow of the river twenty feet from us. This artistic site is by the river, in a sacred grove, with a labyrinth. It will transport and inspire you. Guaranteed.
This will be a highly experiential time together. We will combine time to “drop-in,” breathing, journaling, and share our process (both the exciting and the seemingly “scary”).
For these four hours together, you will have three creativity guides (Frederic, Savannah, and Stephen). We three have each had our own blocks to creativity, our own inner critic, and have found ways to follow our inner guidance and flow into our creativity. We can help you do the same. We three creativity guides can be alternately compassionate for any creative wounding you have experienced…and challenging of your fixed conceptions (like “I was not born with any talent”) …and artful in helping you to open to your inner guidance.
BTW: You do NOT have to be an “artist” in the conventional sense to take this playshop! You do NOT have to paint paintings! You CAN have a fifth-grade teacher who squelched your creativity! All are welcome here as all are connected to creativity within them whether they know it or not.
This is scheduled for a beautiful Fall day during a September weekend 2019. A perfect way for you to relax, go inward and find fulfillment.
This event is limited to 12 folks, for the depth of individual attention and guidance… and so we can bond as a group, and share an intimate, amazing experience together.
Ultimately, creativity offers us THE WAY TO UNIFY — our expression, inner guidance, taking a risk, being vulnerable, showing up, being inspired, and allowing Source Energy to come through.
To unify in this way is to be renewed, enlivened, re-sourced, awakened to Life’s magic.
